Clownfish Snorkeling with Nirili Tours
Discover the colorful underwater world of the Maldives with our Clownfish Snorkeling experience. Join the Nirili Tours team for a relaxing reef adventure around Dhiffushi and spend approximately 1 hour snorkeling in clear tropical water.
One of the main highlights of this excursion is the opportunity to see clownfish living around sea anemones in their natural environment. Depending on the reef and sea conditions, you may also see colorful tropical fish, coral formations, parrotfish, butterflyfish, surgeonfish and other marine life.
Approximately 1 Hour of Snorkeling
Once we reach the snorkeling location, our crew will provide safety instructions and help guests prepare their snorkeling equipment.
You will then have approximately 1 hour in the water to explore the reef. Our guides will stay with the group and help you enjoy the experience safely.
Both experienced snorkelers and beginners are welcome. If you are not confident in the water, please tell our crew before entering so we can provide additional assistance.

The Maldives is a natural marine environment, so every trip is different. Depending on the day, you may encounter:
Clownfish and sea anemones, colorful tropical reef fish, parrotfish, butterflyfish, surgeonfish, schools of small reef fish, coral formations and other marine life.
Wildlife sightings are natural and cannot be guaranteed.
Snorkeling Equipment
Snorkeling equipment will be prepared for guests joining the excursion.
Please provide your EU shoe size when booking so our team can prepare suitable snorkeling fins before departure.
Listen carefully to the crew's instructions before entering the water and stay close to your guide while snorkeling.
Protect the Reef 🪸
Our reefs are beautiful but delicate. We ask all guests to help protect the marine environment.
Please do not touch or stand on coral, chase or touch marine animals, remove shells or coral, or leave rubbish in the ocean.
Enjoy the reef responsibly and leave everything exactly as you found it.
Weather & Sea Conditions
Your safety is our priority. The snorkeling location or operating time may change depending on weather, waves, currents, underwater visibility and general sea conditions.
If the planned location is unsuitable, Nirili Tours may choose another safe snorkeling area or adjust the excursion schedule.
What to Bring
We recommend bringing swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat or cap, drinking water and comfortable clothes for the boat.
Avoid bringing unnecessary valuables during the excursion.
